Pool Patio Design That Finishes What Your Pool Started
Slip-resistant natural stone, proper coping, and drainage that actually works — De'Angele builds pool decks that are as safe and functional as they are beautiful.
Pool Decks Built for Safety, Durability, and the Long Term
Your pool patio sees more foot traffic, more water, and more chemical exposure than any other surface on your property. Material selection and installation technique matter enormously here. We specify non-slip finishes, proper drainage grades away from your pool equipment and foundation, and frost-tolerant materials that handle New England winters without cracking or heaving.
Non-slip surface textures are a requirement near water — we recommend tumbled pavers and honed stone rather than smooth or polished finishes.
Pool coping is set in polymer-modified mortar rated for submerged and saturated conditions — it bonds properly and stays put.
The deck is graded to direct water away from pool equipment and house foundations, not just toward the drain.
A compressible joint between the coping and first course of deck material accommodates the pool shell's seasonal movement without cracking the field stone.

What's Included in Every Project
Our full-service approach means every detail is handled — from first consultation to final walkthrough.
Non-Slip Surfaces
Tumbled pavers, brushed granite, and honed travertine provide natural texture that remains safe underfoot when wet.
Pool Coping
Bullnose bluestone, granite, or concrete coping caps the pool shell and creates a clean, comfortable edge.
Drainage Design
Pool decks are graded to move water away from pool equipment and home foundations — protecting your long-term investment.
Heat-Managed Materials
Light-colored, heat-reflective stones keep the deck comfortable underfoot on hot summer days.
