Beacon Hill Flagstone: Large-Format Pavers

Beacon Hill Flagstone is Unilock’s large-format, textured paver — built to read like quarried flagstone laid in big, deliberate slabs rather than a busy field of small units. It’s the collection we reach for when a client wants a patio that feels expansive and clean, with fewer joint lines breaking up the surface.

Colors currently available in our region

• Alpine Grey — cool, contemporary grey
• Bavarian Blend — warm, multi-tone blend
• Fossil — earthy neutral

Unilock produces additional Beacon Hill Flagstone colors nationally, but regional plant availability varies. These three are what’s currently listed for our area — we’ll confirm exact current stock and bring samples before you commit to a color.

Sizes

• Small Rectangle — 7½” × 15″ × 2⅜” (190 × 380 × 60mm)
• Large Rectangle — 15″ × 22½” × 2⅜” (380 × 570 × 60mm)
• Square — 15″ × 15″ × 2⅜” (380 × 380 × 60mm)
• XL Unit — 22½” × 37½” × 2⅜” (570 × 950 × 60mm)

Important to know upfront: Beacon Hill Flagstone — in both the 3-unit random bundle and the XL slab — is rated pedestrian use only. It’s built for patios, walkways, and pool decks, not driveways. If a driveway is part of your project, we’d typically pair it with a smaller, drive-rated paver like Brussels Block, or steer toward Richcliff’s Random Bundle instead.

Worth knowing: there’s a smooth-face sibling

Unilock also makes Beacon Hill Smooth — same large-format sizing, but with a flat, contemporary finish instead of Flagstone’s textured face, in its own color range (including Fossil and Bavarian Blend, shared with Flagstone, plus additional smooth-only colors). It’s factory-sealed with EasyClean stain resistance. If your design leans modern rather than natural-stone, it’s worth seeing both finishes side by side before deciding.

Our take

Beacon Hill Flagstone is our recommendation when the goal is a clean, upscale patio with minimal visual clutter — it photographs beautifully around pools and outdoor kitchens because the large units let the furniture and landscaping be the focal point rather than the paving pattern.
